Wigan's Cameron Phelps and Andy Coley have signed contract extensions keeping them at the club for the 2010 season. Australian back Phelps, 24, arrived as a short-term signing during last season, while 31-year-old prop Coley signed from Salford in 2007. Phelps said: "I'm pleased to be staying and hope to stay longer by showing even more improvement in my game." Coley said: "The last two years have been great and I am really enjoying my rugby at the moment." Head coach Brian Noble added: "Both players have played a big part for us this season and it is good news for the club that they have signed for 2010." And Warriors chairman Ian Lenagan was also full of praise for Coley's recent performances. "Prop forwards are difficult to find and Andy Coley's step-up in performance over the past 4 months has earned him a further season with us. He is committed to performing next year as he has done this year and will also be involved in helping the development of some of our young forwards" he said.
