Leuluai has made 78 appearances for Wigan, scoring 26 tries |
Wigan Warriors scrum-half Thomas Leuluai has agreed a new three-year deal with the Super League club. The 23-year-old, who was a World Cup winner with New Zealand last November, joined Wigan from Harlequins in 2006. "I am pleased the deal has been sorted. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time so far and was always looking to stay at the club," he said. "I hope I can play my part in bringing some success to the Warriors both this season and in the next few years." Leuluai, who is the son of former Kiwi and Hull star James, has made 78 appearances for the Warriors, scoring 26 tries. Head coach Brian Noble was delighted he had committed his future to the club. "This is a fabulous re-signing for us, he is an exciting player and I am delighted he has committed his future to us," he said. "I think he feels that success is now not too far away."
