O'Carroll's Super League place has been taken by Paul Prescott

Wigan prop Eamon O'Carroll will be out of action for about 10 weeks after breaking a bone in a foot.

The 21-year-old Ireland international appeared in Wigan's opening six Super League matches.

But he broke a metatarsal playing for the Warriors' reserves against Salford at the Willows last Friday.

However, X-rays have shown Gareth Hock has not broken a hand, while Karl Pryce is expected to recover from a hip injury to face Huddersfield on Friday.
