Calderwood signed from Leeds Rhinos in 2006

England winger Mark Calderwood is to leave Wigan at the end of the season when his contract expires.

The 26-year-old former Leeds man was left out of the Warriors side that lost 45-38 to Catalans Dragons on Saturday.

Calderwood is expected to join Hull FC as a replacement for Australian Matt Sing, who is retiring in the autumn.

He told the Wigan Evening Post: "It's disappointing but has come as no surprise. Now the uncertainty is over at least I can plan ahead long term."
