Noble quick to praise his players
Brian Noble
Noble knows the hard work has only just begun
Wigan coach Brian Noble heaped praise on his team after beginning his rein with a 46-14 win at Huddersfield.

"It was down to the players, they were very determined," said the former Bradford Bulls boss, who only took over from Ian Millward on Thursday.

"I'm pleased for them, but it's only the start for us. Let's not forget we're still bottom of the league.

"They'll recognise there's some work to do on Monday and Tuesday when we show them the pictures."

The Warriors were led by immense displays from the likes of Iafeta Paleaaesina, Bryan Fletcher and captain Sean O'Loughlin.

But Danny Orr, Dennis Moran and Pat Richards, who have largely struggled for form so far, also played their part.

Noble also pointed to the fact the Giants had a gruelling game just five days ago - ironically his last game in charge of the Bradford Bulls.

"I think you could see they were a little bit jaded, and that can happen when you play Bradford because they are a big side," he said.

"They are a very physical team and it can take a lot of juice out of you. But that would be taking a little bit away from what Wigan did."
