Radlinski will miss the Tri-Nations later this year |
Wigan captain Kris Radlinski will miss the rest of the Super League season after suffering a knee injury. The full-back will have surgery later this week and is also out of this winter's Tri-Nations tournament against Australia and New Zealand.
"This is another huge blow to us and for the player. Kris has been very unfortunate this year," said Wigan coach Ian Millward.
"We will have to again look to some of our youngsters to help fill the gap."
Radlinski's injury is a significant blow for both Wigan and Great Britain.
Wigan are currently struggling in seventh in Super League, 20 points behind leaders Leeds.
Great Britain start their Tri-Nations campaign against New Zealand on 29 October.
