Radlinski missed the Tri-Nations because he was injured |
Wigan full-back Kris Radlinski has paid tribute to the physiotherapist who helped him avoid back surgery. A chance meeting with ex-Wigan physio Rob Harris not only meant Radlinski avoided an operation but also resulted in a speedier return to action.
"If it wasn't for Rob, God knows where I would be," Radlinski told BBC Sport.
Radlinski, who was facing six months out, overcame two stress fractures at the base of his back thanks to Harris's rehabilitation programme.
Now, with regular skipper Andy Farrell sidelined, he will captain the Warriors when they open their Super League season at home to Salford on Friday.
