Widnes planning to stay full-time
Widnes Vikings have decided they will remain full-time if they are relegated from the Engage Super League.

The Vikings, five points adrift of safety with five games left, look set to follow bottom side Leigh back into the National League.

Widnes chairman Tony Chambers said the contingency plan was made to give them "the best possible chance of getting straight back into Super League".

Leigh are going to switch back to part-time status.
