Warrington need to be on their guard, says Chris Riley
Riley has scored 22 tries for the Wolves in Super League this season
Warrington winger Chris Riley insists his side are aware of the threat the Catalans Dragons pose ahead of Sunday's Challenge Cup semi-final.
The Catalans beat the Wolves 29-28 the last time the sides met in July.
"Every team in Super League can beat each other on their day and that's what happened when we went there," the 22-year-old told BBC Radio Merseyside.
"If you're off your guard, you're going to get turned over by the teams at the bottom of the table."
Riley added: "We have been playing well in the league and we like to think we can beat teams week-in, week-out."
Challenge Cup holders Warrington were at the wrong end of a narrow 26-24 defeat by St Helens last Saturday, which was their seventh Super League reverse of the season.
And Riley says winning more silverware this year has been on the agenda at the Halliwell Jones since their cup victory last season.
"It was something we spoke about after winning the Challenge Cup last year, and how much we wanted to defend it," Riley continued.
"We set our sights on Super League and the same with the Challenge Cup.
"No one wants to win the cup and give it up easily and we're no different. We want to keep it and I don't want to let go of it for many years."
