Warrington Wolves head coach Tony Smith believes his club will become much stronger next season for their experiences in 2009. The Challenge Cup holders look set to miss out on the Super League play-offs after their defeat to Hull KR. "We have some good young players, mixed with good experience and it's taking time for them to blend together," Smith told the BBC's Super League Show. "After a good off-season together I think we'll become very strong." Smith added: "This club has had some tough times and all the players have learnt from those experiences and hopefully will improve from them. "I hope winning the Challenge Cup will now kick us on to bigger things - it's certainly given us a taste for playing in big games and winning silverware. "We now want to go on and compete in more big games and that win was reward for all the hard work we've put in and the players have to continue to work hard."
