Wakefield coach John Kear has urged prop Kyle Bibb to make the most of his opportunity to impress while on loan with Championship side Whitehaven.

Bibb, 23, has signed a month-long deal at the Recreation Ground with Ged Stokes' Haven side, starting with Sunday's home encounter with Sheffield.

"Kyle has not been able to break into our side," Kear revealed.

"It'll be a great experience for Kyle as the Championship is a very competitive league."

Bibb began his career with Hull FC before moving to Wakefield in 2007, and enjoyed a loan spell with Super League rivals Harlequins earlier this term.
