Wakefield prop Ricky Bibey has played his last game for the club after being ruled out for the rest for the season because of a shoulder injury.

The 28-year-old, who has agreed a deal to re-join Leigh next campaign, will be out for 12 weeks with a muscle tear.

Wakefield coach John Kear said: "The club would like to pay tribute to the excellent service provided by Ricky during his three years here.

"He has been a vital member of the forward pack."

Bibey, who has previously played for Wigan and St Helens, will now undergo surgery to repair his shoulder.

"We wish Ricky and his family all the best for the future," added Kear.
