Kear took over as head coach of the Wildcats in July 2006 |
Wakefield head coach John Kear has said he is under no pressure to sell players in order to raise funds. Recent rumours have suggested that Kear will need to offload some of his squad, but he said he is merely operating within a budget. "That budget ensures that this club can pay its bills and salary demands," he told BBC Radio Leeds. "There's no financial worries. Should the new stadium go ahead then the finance worries should melt away." He added: "I think we'll get more revenue from sponsorship and fans so I think things are looking rosy on that side rather than otherwise."
