Pryce poised to resume training
Wakefield
Wakefield winger Waine Pryce has been told he can resume training after recovering from a horrific leg injury.

The 25-year-old broke both the tibia and fibia in his left leg playing for Castleford in the Super League game against Harlequins in July.

Pryce, who has had a metal rod and screws inserted into the leg, sealed a move to the Wildcats in October.

"I'm now looking forward to being fully fit and raring to go in early February," he said.

"At the time, the pain was terrible and I feared the worst but later I was told that the injury was not actually as bad as it looked on TV.

"The specialist surgeon worked wonders for me to ensure that my leg would be fit and strong enough to continue my career."
