Saints' Francis Meli scored twice against Huddersfield |
St Helens' improving form is down to key partnerships beginning to gel, according to former Super League star Robbie Paul. Saints have moved up to third in Super League after winning well at fancied Huddersfield in their last match. "They seem to be gelling a lot more now in key positions and that's having a positive effect," Paul told the BBC's Super League Show. "The combination between Leon Pryce and Kyle Eastmond is coming together." Paul said: "How well those two would gel and play together was really put under the microscope when Sean Long left [for Hull] and now they are looking good. "The performance at Huddersfield just reminds everyone how good St Helens are, and that they have too many good players to not be challenging again this season."
