St Helens loose forward Jason Hooper has been forced to return home early from his club's warm-weather camp in Dubai because of injury. Hooper suffered a shoulder injury in training and has returned 24 hours before his team-mates. The injury means he will miss Sean Long's testimonial game against Leigh on Saturday. The Australian played in 28 of Saints' 35 matches last season as they collected the treble.
