Salford City Reds have signed Wakefield Wildcats hooker Tevita Leo-Latu. The 29-year-old, who has agreed a two-year deal at the Willows, will be the Reds' first-choice hooker in 2011 following Malcolm Alker's retirement. "It's going to be a good, new challenge," said Leo-Latu. "Some of the guys we have signed mean we have to be looking at a minimum of the play-offs." Meanwhile, the Reds have tied winger Jodie Broughton, 22, to a new three-year contract. "Jodie is one of the most exciting prospects in the game and we are delighted to have tied up his long-term future," said Salford director of football Steve Simms.
