McRae's side have yet to get a home draw in this season's Challenge Cup |
Salford City Reds coach Shaun McRae says an away draw at Wigan in the quarter-finals should not affect his side's Challenge Cup chances. The Reds beat Batley 66-4 to reach the last eight then landed a trip to the JJB Stadium to face an improving Wigan. McRae told BBC Radio Manchester: "Being away shouldn't make a difference. Look at our win at Hull [in round four]. "I'm a bit disappointed we've not played at home in the Cup but, like I say, it shouldn't make any difference." He added: "The game against Batley was fine and the way was paved by a magnificent first-half performance."
