Harlequins' David Hughes happy with RFL support

Harlequins chairman David Hughes says he is happy with the support package offered by the Rugby Football League.

The governing body will provide assistance on the administration side of the Quins as the club continue to build the game in London.

"We have fulfilled all of our targets over the last few years and we don't want to throw that all away," Hughes told the BBC's Super League Show.

"So this help will mean we can continue to build and go forward."

Hughes outlined his future plans to the Harlequins fans ahead of their final game of the season against Warrington.

"The RFL will help in the office, help in technical support and some financial support too, but that's in the long term, not a big cash pay-out now," explained Hughes.

"I want to move forward now and I'm very happy with what the RFL have offered, so for 2011 I have committed myself financially and on to 2014."
