Leeds Rhinos have signed Doncaster centre Michael Coady on a three-and-a-half-year contract. The Bristol-born former rugby union player will be loaned back to Doncaster before joining up with the Rhinos at the end of the year. He told the club website: "It would be a dream come true to be able to run out at Headingley as a Rhinos player." The 22-year-old only switched codes this season and has recovered from glandular fever to sign for Leeds. Rhinos head coach Brian McClennan is delighted to have signed a young British player who has been compared to Rhinos legend Keith Senior. McClennan said: "Michael is a work in progress but a very exciting prospect. "He is a raw talent but he is physical, tough, brave, athletic and most importantly intelligent so I am sure he has all the attributes needed to make a success of his opportunity. "He is an outside back and is already a pretty big guy but he will get bigger in our development programme. "He is a difficult player to tackle and can break the line so you can see why the comparisons to Keith have been made."
