Webb has scored 34 tries in 96 appearances for the Warriors |
Leeds have completed the signing of New Zealand international Brent Webb. The 25-year-old New Zealand Warriors full-back will join the Rhinos for next season after agreeing a two-year deal.
Webb, who has won 11 caps for his country and has made 96 appearances in the NRL for the Warriors, will replace the Gold Coast-bound Richie Mathers.
"Leeds have been challenging for honours over the past couple of years and I'm an excited to be coming into that environment," he said.
Webb, who has 34 tries for the Warriors, was born in Australia but qualified for New Zealand through residency.
"Brent is a quality player who has shown he has what it takes to play at the highest level," said Rhinos coach Tony Smith.
"He is still only a young player but despite everything he has already achieved, he is still keen to learn and progress as a player."
Webb will team up with Warriors team-mate Clinton Toopi next season after the centre signed a three-year deal with the Rhinos in May.
