Leeds have beaten off opposition from Australian clubs to sign New Zealand international centre Clinton Toopi on a three-year contract from next season. The 26-year-old has scored 57 tries in 128 games for the New Zealand Warriors, and could replace Chev Walker, who has been linked with a move to Australia.
"I considered options in the NRL but Leeds was the best opportunity," Toopi told the Warriors website.
"It'll be sad to go but I want to try my best for the rest of my time here."

Toopi will renew his partnership with former Warriors team-mate Ali Lauitiiti, now at Leeds. "I am especially looking forward to teaming up again with Ali," he added.
"We had a great combination at the Warriors and I know I can play well off him."
Rhinos coach Tony Smith said: "I am delighted we are bringing a world-class player into our organisation.
"He has shown his quality on the world stage and, having spoken with him, he is really keen to reproduce that form in Super League.
"I am looking forward to coaching him and having him in our squad from next season."
