Cooke made a controversial switch from neighbours Hull FC in 2007 |
Hull Kingston Rovers stand-off Paul Cooke will start the season with a clean slate after his disciplinary problems last season. Cooke was left out of the Rovers side for a number of games last season but the club did not make public the nature of the disciplinary issues. Head coach Justin Morgan said: "There's a line been drawn in the sand. "I'm not one to look back to what may or may not have happened, that's been put behind us." Morgan, who said his relationship with Cooke was "great" added: "The relationship with him and his team-mates, which is the most important one, is fantastic." Rovers are set to kick off the new season against Bradford Bulls in February, with Cooke in their side. And Morgan said: "We've got to move on and towards the future."
