Briscoe got his Super League chance in 2002 |
Hull KR full-back Shaun Briscoe has signed a new two-year contract which ties him to Craven Park until the end of the 2011 season. The 25-year-old joined Rovers on a two-year deal in the close season and has appeared in all 18 Super League matches so far this year. "We have a quality set of players that are hungry for success," said the former Wigan and Hull player. "Committing myself to the club is a natural progression for me." | 606: DEBATE | Coach Justin Morgan said: "Shaun has a fantastic work ethic. He is amongst the bravest players that I have ever come across." Briscoe's ever-present record is under threat after he sustained a groin injury in the early stages of yesterday's 26-18 home defeat by Wakefield which has dashed any hope of an England call-up.
