Briscoe has scored 57 tries in 100 appearances for Hull |
Hull KR have signed full-back Shaun Briscoe from Hull FC on a two-year contract, starting next season. Rovers are thought to have beaten off competition from Briscoe's former club Wigan to sign the 24-year-old.
Briscoe, who had not been offered a new contract at Hull FC because of salary cap restrictions, has scored 57 tries in 101 appearances for the club.
"Shaun has a fantastic work ethic and will add a new dimension to our backs," said Hull KR coach Justin Morgan.
"He has a lot of experience and has played internationally for England which adds to his quality as a player.
"He continues to impress me with his ability to cover several positions and is a player that will definitely complement the squad."

Briscoe recently lost his full-back spot to New Zealand utility player Motu Tony and has played on the wing in the last three matches.
He returned to action earlier this month after breaking his jaw in the 34-8 defeat at Bradford in June.
Hull FC chief executive James Rule said the club would have liked to have kept Briscoe on.
"Sport can be a brutal business and unfortunately at times difficult decisions have to be taken for the good of the club," he said.
"People will not always agree with those decisions but that's what makes sport unique. It is full of contrasting views and opinions.
"However, our ultimate goal is to take Hull FC forward and develop the club and to facilitate that some difficult decisions have to be made.
"Shaun is one of those difficult decisions."
