Hull's Great Britain international stand-off Richard Horne has signed a new three-year contract. The 26-year-old had an injury-ravaged season in 2008, including a potentially career-ending neck injury in April. But he recovered sufficiently to feature in August's Challenge Cup final defeat by St Helens. "I'm delighted, especially after the year I have just had. Now I can get back involved and feel part of things again," he said. Horne, who has 12 Great Britain caps, has scored 98 tries in 256 career appearances for Hull. He added: "Basically, I have lost a season and I am keen to make up for it. "People have said it will be like having a new player in the squad and they are probably right because all I want to do is get back playing and producing the kind of performances I know I am capable of." "I'm delighted and it will be great to have Richard back," said Agar. "We faced an uncertain time with Richard this year, so to get to the bottom of everything and get him back is fantastic news for everyone. "He is a talisman for us and we have missed his presence on the training and playing field enormously."
