Horne is a Hull native |
Hull scrum-half Richard Horne equalled a 91-year-old club record when he scored a try for the 11th game in a row in the 36-24 win over Warrington. The 24-year-old, who set a new Super League mark when scoring for the 10th game in a row at Salford last week, equalled Jack Harrison's 1915 record.
"Richard's a special player. He's a great asset for this club," said Hull coach Peter Sharp.
"To score in 11 games in a row is a tremendous effort."
Hull-born Horne, who celebrates his 24th birthday on Sunday, was one of six try-scorers as the Airlie Birds registered their 13th straight win in the Super League.
