Huddersfield Giants chasing two more overseas signings
Brown is heading into his third season in charge of the Giants
Head coach Nathan Brown says Huddersfield Giants are still on the hunt for two more overseas signings.
The Giants returned to pre-season training on Monday but still have overseas quota spots available to bring in players from the NRL.
"We have the money available and would like to bring in a few more players," Brown told BBC Radio Leeds.
"We are still trying to find the right players out of Australia, so the squad will change a little."
The Giants have snapped up young British talent in the likes of Joe Wardle and Matthew Dawson for the 2011 season, but are keen to add more NRL experience to their squad.
"It's all up in the air at the moment to be honest," admitted Brown.
"We have definitely got some balls in the air, but it's just whether they fall into our hand or fall the other way.
"The club is out their looking and between Richard [Thewlis, Giants managing director] and myself we are generally talking to people.
"We have people in mind but it's not as easy to get people out of Australia anymore because of the state of the pound.
"The salary cap in Australia is also much much bigger than it is here. So it is not as easy to get them here as it once was."
Brown also expects to be without his England internationals for a large part of pre-season.
"They landed back in the UK on Tuesday but we have four of them going straight for operations. So those guys will come straight back here and then we'll send them to get operated on in the next week or so.
"For the other two that are fit and healthy they'll come back here and get their bodies checked out.
"We'll give them a break but will need to discuss it with them to decided how long they need off."
