Wild has been capped twice by Great Britain |
Huddersfield Giants will be without centre Stephen Wild for six-to-eight weeks with a knee injury. Scans have revealed that Wild sustained cruciate ligament damage during Sunday's 24-6 defeat by St Helens at the Galpharm Stadium. The 28-year-old former Wigan and Great Britain player is likely to be replaced against Catalans Dragons on Friday by Graeme Horne. Keith Mason and Leroy Cudjoe are also in line for a return to action. Mason has been out since tearing a pectoral muscle in the first few minutes of Huddersfield's opening match of the season against Bradford, while Cudjoe was rested against Saints.
