Huddersfield Giants head coach Nathan Brown has paid tribute to chairman Ken Davy after the club reached the Challenge Cup final.
The Giants win 24-14 over holders St Helens saw them reach their second final in three years, but their first appearance at Wembley since 1962.
"You have to be delighted for Ken," Brown told BBC Radio Leeds.
"All clubs should be grateful for their chairman, rugby clubs are black holes and he has put a lot into this one."
The Giants ended St Helens' 18-match unbeaten run in the Challenge Cup and in the process halted their campaign for a fourth straight cup win.
The victory also served as some small revenge for Saints' Challenge Cup final win over Huddersfield at Twickenham in 2006.
Brown added: "I don't think there is too much profit in rugby league clubs and I'm sure most chairman lose money in them, so it's great credit to Ken, who is a huge Giants fan.
"Hopefully we've made the day as enjoyable as possible for him and everyone else connected with the club and can do it again in the final."
