Giants boss not expecting changes

Nathan Brown
Brown replaces Jon Sharp, who was sacked last season

New Huddersfield Giants head coach Nathan Brown does not expect any more player movement in or out of the club.

The 34-year-old has masterminded an overhaul of the Giants' squad from Australia and finally arrived in the United Kingdom on Sunday.

"I'm really happy with the squad and we have excellent players in key positions," Brown told BBC Radio Leeds.

"The books are closed at this stage and it's now about head down and working hard with the squad we have."

Brown signed a three-year contract with the Giants after finishing his season with NRL side St George Illawarra.

"I've watched a lot of the Giants from DVDs and have spoken a lot with [Giants assistant] Paul Anderson on the phone.

"So I know a lot about the team already in terms of the way they play.

"What I need to do now I'm here is to get to know the personalities and learn how each player ticks."
