Giants to loan St Helens' Moore

Scott Moore

Huddersfield Giants will sign St Helens hooker Scott Moore on loan for the 2009 Super League campaign.

The 20-year-old is currently on a season-long loan at Castleford Tigers and Saints are keen for him to gain some experience in the top-flight.

"Scott is continuing to develop," said Saints chairman Eamonn McManus.

"However, he knows that appearances at the Saints will be limited next season - especially under the continued form of James Roby."

In 2004 Moore made his senior debut for Saints to become the youngest player in Super League.

He has represented England at Under-15, 16 and 17 level and has made 15 appearances for Super League side Castleford Tigers this season.
