St Helens and former Great Britain prop forward Paul Anderson will join Huddersfield's coaching staff on a two-year-deal. Anderson, who will retire from playing at the end of the season, will move to Giants as assistant coach in December.
The 34-year-old said: "The coaching career is now set in place and I'll be ready for that challenge in December.
"For now it's all about finishing off with the Saints and me playing my part in achieving our goals here."
Castleford-born Anderson has made over 300 appearances for Halifax, Leeds, Bradford and St Helens.
"I felt it best to make this announcement now and put any speculation that is circulating to bed," he added.
