 Mounis could not prevent Catalans losing 22-14 to Salford on Saturday |
Catalans Dragons second row Gregory Mounis will miss Saturday's Challenge Cup quarter-final against Batley after being given a one-match ban. Mounis was found guilty of a dangerous tackle on Salford's Luke Swain during during the 22-14 weekend home defeat by the Reds. He was also fined £300 by the Rugby Football League Disciplinary committee for the offence. The French international was his side's only ever-present this season. Huddersfield trio Martin Aspinwall, Andy Raleigh and Keith Mason, and Hull KR's Ben Cockayne have been cautioned. Aspinwall was cautioned for tripping Lee Briers in the Giants' defeat by Warrington on Sunday, while Raleigh and Mason were cautioned for using raised knees in tackles by Ben Westwood and Ben Harrison respectively in the same game. Cockayne's caution was for a high tackle on Ade Gardner during Rovers' loss at St Helens.
