Castleford Tigers prop forward Craig Huby has agreed a three-year extension to his contract which will keep him at the club until at least 2011. The 21-year-old is the club's longest serving player and made his Tigers debut when he was just 17. Tigers coach Terry Matterson told the club's website: "I'm really pleased that Craig has signed a new deal. "Although still only young he's been here for some time now and been through the club's recent ups and downs." "He deserves this, we feel that we have laid a platform with him and that his best rugby is in front of him. "It's good that we have tied up another of the players who has come through the club's academy system." Huby said: "I'm very happy to have signed this new deal, I've been at the club six years now and had no wish to move away. "We have had some disappointments this season but I feel that the clubs future is very bright and as a local lad I want to be part of it."
