Craig Huby has been rewarded for helping Castleford return to the Super League with an improved contract that extends to the end of the 2007 season. The 19-year-old forward, who made his Super League debut in 2003, had a year to run on his existing deal.
Tigers chief executive Richard Wright said: "There has been speculation that the top clubs were monitoring Craig, but we were determined to keep him.
"We hope that he will be a mainstay of our squad for many years."
