Northampton's Kirk Dixon is to cut short his spell in rugby union to return to rugby league and play for Castleford in National League One. Dixon, 22, made 11 Super League appearances for Hull before joining Premiership side Northampton Saints on a loan deal a month ago.
But the centre has now signed a 12-month contract with the Tigers.
Castleford boss Mick Robinson said: "Kirk is a player with Super League experience who has a lot to offer us."
Dixon will join up with the Tigers squad for pre-season training in mid-November.
