Australian centre Ryan McGoldrick made his Castleford debut on Sunday after The Tigers finally won a lengthy contractual battle to sign him. The 25-year-old signed for both Cas and Australian champions Wests Tigers following his release by Cronulla at the end of last season.
He was left out of the Castleford squad list published last week but arrived in time to make his debut at the weekend.
But his appearance as a subtitute could not save Cas from a 24-22 defeat.
