Bradford Bulls hooker Adam O'Brien has signed a new three-year contract with the Super League side.

The Halifax-born player, who signed last January from his local side Siddal ARLFC, has since played for the Bulls Academy and Under-20s.

O'Brien, who made his England Academy debut in May, said: "I was really happy to sign this new contract because I really enjoy it at Bradford.

"Bradford welcomed me and my family and made me feel at home."

Bulls' head of youth Paul Medley added: "Adam has worked very hard since he came to the club and he has made great strides in his drive to be a professional player.

"His attitude is first class and he developed both physically and skills wise and he really sees his future at the club and wants to play for the Bulls.

"Adam feels he is in the best environment for his career to progress further and his selection for the England Academy Squad is proof of his ability, and this improved and extended contract is a measure of our faith in him for the future."
