Whitehead joined the Bulls from local West Bowling Amateur Club |
Bradford Bulls back row forward Elliott Whitehead has signed a new improved contract, keeping him at Odsal until the end of the 2013 season. The 21-year-old made his first-team debut in 2009 and appeared in all but one of the Bulls' games last season, scoring nine tries. He said: "I don't want to go anywhere else because this is my hometown club and I love playing for them. "I am really looking forward to next season and working with Mick Potter." Bulls chairman Peter Hood added: "Elliott has been tremendous for us since he came into the side and, although his contract still had a further year to run, we were keen to offer him this new improved deal to reward him for the progress he has made. "He has certainly earned it and we are delighted to have him at the club for the next three years, during which time we fully expect him to make his full international debut."
