McNamara's Bulls have won three of their opening five matches |
Bradford head coach Steve McNamara says the Bulls' comeback victory against Wigan on Friday has given the squad a new level of confidence and belief. The Bulls fought from 20-0 down to win 22-20 thanks to a last-minute converted try at the Gratton Stadium. "A comeback victory like that is better than any team building exercise you can do," McNamara told the BBC's Super League Show. "The confidence and belief we take from this is huge." McNamara added: "The character the boys showed was incredible and they really raised their game in the second half when they needed to. "I have to say though that we can't keep doing this by coming from behind and winning matches because it takes up a lot of energy. "It takes up too much energy and if we keep having to come from behind in future matches we'll soon find it catches up with us. "So we know we have to be a whole lot better over the course of the 80 minutes."
