Odsal has been home to Bradford Bulls since 1934 |
Bradford council have approved plans to redevelop Bradford Bulls' Odsal ground. The £75m project will include building a new 18,000 seater stadium, a sports village, community sports facility with a 25m pool and a hotel. The Bulls are aiming to return to their Odsal ground by 2012 and will have to vacate it while the work is carried out, possibly to Valley Parade. "It delivers a stadium that's fit for the 21st century," said Bradford chairman Peter Hood. Around £19m of funding for the project is already secured with the rest to come from retail and sponsorship, grant funding and the project's partners.
