Bradford Bulls' Fijian international Semi Tadulala has signed a new one-year contract with the Super League outfit. The 30-year-old winger will remain at Odsal until the end of the 2009 season. Tadulala, who has scored 23 tries for the club, said: "I've still got plenty of room for improvement I'm always pretty critical of myself "Scoring 23 tries doesn't change that because I would have liked to have done a lot better and can do more in attack and defence." Tadulala, who was sidelined at the start of the year after fracturing a cheekbone, added: "There's plenty to work on, lots of little things, but I'm glad I can now do that with Bradford. "With the start to the season I had - picking up a few injuries and missing five or six games - I've got to be happy to finish the way I did but there's a lot more to come next year. "I'm definitely pleased to get the contract sorted. It has taken a while but I'm glad it's all done now. "It's only for a year but that's all I signed last time and it worked out. "I'll take it year by year because Bradford is the club I want to play for." | Both Semi and I feel there is still a lot of improvement in him and I am looking for him to make an even bigger impact next season Bulls coach Steve McNamara |
Tadulala, who is set to play for Fiji in the World Cup, which starts in October, joined Bradford from Wakefield Wildcats at the start of last season and Bulls coach Steve McNamara stated: "I am delighted that Semi has decided to stay at the Grattan Stadium. "He had a tremendous first year with us and just the sheer number of times he crossed the line bares testament to that but his all round game improved considerably too. "Both Semi and I feel there is still a lot of improvement in him and I am looking for him to make an even bigger impact next season."
