McNamara took over as Bulls head coach in 2006 |
Bradford boss Steve McNamara says he has developed into a better coach after a demanding Super League 13 campaign. The Bulls endured a season of injuries and inconsistency, culminating in a 30-14 defeat to play-off rivals Wigan. "If I ever learn as much in a single year in coaching then I will be surprised," he told BBC Radio Leeds. "It's been a challenging year, but we've shown we can come through it. To make the play-offs after our problems this season is a major achievement." He added: "We'd have loved to gone on in the play-offs and shown what we could do, but it wasn't meant to be. "As a group we've grown and we now know we can deal with these kinds of situations."
