Bradford Bulls back-row forward Glenn Morrison has agreed a new one-year extension to his contract to keep him at Odsal until the end of 2009. The 31-year-old has scored 16 tries in 37 appearances since joining the Bulls. Morrison said: "I'm happy here, it's a great club and I think Steve McNamara's on the right path, getting us going in the right direction. "I want to be a part of that and hopefully lift some silverware before I'm done." Morrison joined Bradford from Parramatta Eels at the start of the 2007 season and was named in the Super League Dream Team last year. | He is the consummate professional and he is vitally important to the team and how we play Bulls coach Steve McNamara |
"When I came over here I didn't want to be on my last legs," he said. "I wanted to be playing good footy and hopefully earn that third year. I've done that and I'm delighted and it's great that I'll be with Bradford for another season." Coach Steve McNamara also welcomed the Australian's decision to stay on at Odsal for another year. "I am absolutely delighted that Glenn has agreed to stay at the Bulls for the next twelve months," McNamara said. "Glenn has been first class, both on and off the field, since the day he arrived and I am delighted he will be with us next year. He is the consummate professional and he is vitally important to the team and how we play."
