Pryce has scored 17 tries for Bradford this season |
Super League champions Bradford Bulls say they are resigned to losing Karl Pryce to rugby union side Gloucester. The 20-year-old centre, who weighs 18st 7lb and stands 6ft 6in tall, is out of contract at the end of the season.
"We believe the player has signed for Gloucester but no one has told us," said Bradford chairman Peter Hood.
The club say Pryce, a member of Great Britain's train-on squad, has been offered a new three-year contract but has yet to accept or decline it.
"The player has been incommunicative except to say that Bradford Bulls are the only club in rugby league he is ever interested in playing for," added Hood.
Pryce, whose older brother Leon left Bradford for St Helens at the end of last season, has come through the junior ranks at Odsal and is their joint leading scorer this season with 17 tries from 21 appearances.

He has already revealed he is in discussions about a possible move away from Odsal.
"I'm in talks with a few clubs, but nothing is set in stone," Pryce told the Rugby Leaguer and League Express.
"The rumours are true, I'm listening to offers from clubs in union. I've never hidden the fact I'd like to play it but that's not to say I'll go this year."
If Pryce moves to Gloucester, he will become the third Super League player to switch codes this year, following Bath's move for Leeds centre Chev Walker and Northampton's acquisition of Salford utility back Stephen Myler.
The Rugby Football Union were behind the Walker deal and also Andy Farrell's move to Saracens last year but they are not thought to be involved in Pryce's signing.
