Vainikolo in new contract talks

Vainikolo joined Bradford from Canberra in 2001
Bradford Bulls have confirmed that negotiations to keep winger Lesley Vainikolo at the club are under way.

The 25-year-old New Zealand international is out of contract at the end of this season and is reported to be a target of union club Gloucester.

Bulls media manager Stuart Duffy said: "Contract negotiations with his agent have started. He's happy at the club and we're happy with him."

Vainikolo scored a record 39 tries in Super League last season.

Gloucester are reported to be willing to offer him a contract worth �200,000 a year to switch codes.
