Scrum-half Paul Deacon says Bradford will quickly turn their season around and has laughed off suggestions of a dressing-room rift at Odsal. The Bulls have lost their first two Super League games of the season, going down to Wakefield and Widnes.
But Deacon says he and his under-fire team-mates remain united.
"Any suggestions of a rift in the camp are wrong," he said. "I can nail that rumour on the head straight away. We are friends and we get on very well."
Critics have suggested all might not be well with Bradford because several of the current squad were offered as makeweights in a failed bid to sign Gareth Ellis from Wakefield.
But Deacon is adamant there are no hard feelings.
"People can make their own assumptions and I don't read much press," he told BBC Sport.
"All we are concentrating on is what's going on in camp. We're trying not to put too much pressure on ourselves and I don't think we are far off the pace.
"We're just making too many mistakes, dropping too much ball. We look a little rusty.
"It has been a terrible start. We've certainly not performed as well as we have trained, because we have been working very hard in training.
"We've just got to concentrate on the basics. It shows how competitive Super League X is if you make mistakes against the so-called lesser teams and they punish you."
The Bulls have only lost three Super League games on the trot once before, suffering successive reverses against Warrington, Wigan and Salford in 1998.
But they face a tough task if they are to avoid slipping to a third straight defeat at the start of 2005.
On Friday they travel to Wigan, who will be looking to make amends for their 18-16 loss to Wakefield.
But Deacon is refusing to panic, saying: "The JJB Stadium would be a good place to start fixing things. They are a great club, so to win there would be a good start."
