Hull Kingston Rovers' build-up to their Super League debut took another step in the right direction with a friendly win over Bradford at Craven Park. Tries at the start and end of the half by Ian Henderson and Richie Hawkyard, either side of one by Iain Morrison for Rovers, gave Bradford a half-time lead.
James Webster set up winger Jon Steel to restore Rovers lead on 52 minutes when he went over in the corner.
Byron Ford's try after Terry Newton's stray pass late on sealed the win.
