Solomona completed his move to Bradford in November |
The Rugby Football League (RFL) have told Bradford they have no case to answer over an alleged illegal approach to Wakefield's David Solomona. The Wildcats claimed the Bulls approached the 28-year-old Kiwi while he was under contract with them but the RFL says there is no case to answer.
Bulls chairman Peter Hood said the club was always confident, describing the allegations as "unfounded".
He added: "We regret the amount of time and money spent on this investigation."
There is no appeal process open to Wakefield.
Solomona joined Bradford on a three-year deal in November.
He moved to Super League when he joined the Wildcats at the start of the 2004 season from Parramatta.
He was named in the 2004 Super League Dream Team after helping the Wildcats reach the play-offs for the first time.
Solomona was recalled to the New Zealand side for last year's Tri-Nations and played in the 24-0 defeat of Australia in the final at Elland Road.
He was chosen in the Kiwi squad for this year's title defence but withdrew to have surgery on a biceps injury.
